How to get to Stelvio Pass (Italy)

The Stelvio Pass is one of the highest Passes in Europe that can be reached by car (altitude 2760 metres / 9055 feet).

In Italy it can be reached easily from Valtellina through the town of Bormio, and from Val Venosta through the town of Bolzano.
It is advisable to be equipped with snow chains: being so high in the mountains, the Stelvio Pass can have snow even in the summer!
